Dear CEF of MARCK Prayer Partners,"I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise will continually be in my mouth!" (Psalm 34:1) Lately I have been amazed to see what God is doing. For example, we have been praying about inviting Jana Alayra (Visit her website: www.janaalayra.com) to Mansfield to do a concert. We have been teaching some of her songs to our Good News Club children. Well, things are starting to fall into place. Pray for the Lord's leading in planning this event.
Praises/Prayer Requests of Dale Baer (Local Director)
- Pray for the Lord's direction regarding hosting a Jana Alayra Concert.
- Pray for Sue Baer's (& Thailand team) safe return to the USA on Feb. 4. (See attachment)
- Pray for Dwight Baer (Pancreatic cancer) as he starts chemo on Feb. 10. You can get a complete up-date on how Dwight is doing by visiting the following website: www.caringbridge.org/visit/dwightbaer
- Pray for Northmor & Auburn GNC to start soon!
- Praise: Mary Davis has started a GNC at Hedges in Mansfield (4 saved).
- Praise: Valentine's Party Trainings went well. (More kits at CEF office)
- Pray for the Global 4/14 Day, a day when we are praying for a million people around the world praying for the children. Visit the website www.Global414Day.com and share the burden to pray with others. (See 2nd attachment)
- Pray for Roy Nieman. He was taken to the Cleveland Clinic this afternoon.
"Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him." (Romans 4:7- 8)
Praises:
- We praise you Lord for eight children who prayed and asked you to forgive their sins this week at Edison GNC!
- Praise and thanks for Lincoln GNC which grew from 7 to 27! Two Clubbers went to the other classes and on their own invited their friends!
- Thank you for teachers who in trying times know they are called to teach and share your word.
- We need God's wisdom for Edison GNC, to in love, bring consistent discipline and order so the children can learn.
- Pray that many who visited the Lincoln Club would return and learn of your great love for them and forgiveness of their sin.
- Help us as we pray and make contacts for the Banquet to move as God directs us.
- Please keep these children in prayer daily who are new in Christ, that their friends would see the change you make when you begin to transform a life!
- From Lincoln GNC: Pray for one of our students whose dad is in jail and mom lives out of state.

March 16-18: CEF Explore Weekend " You can visit the CEF International Headquarters and get a vision for what God may want you to do in CEF.

Guest Speaker: Edna Zuraw (50 years of experience in CEF ministries)

April 14: Global 4/14 Day: Pray & fast for the children on this day!
June 17-23: Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) Training at Christian Union Campground in Greenfield, OH
Cost: $195/Student (Both Jr. CYIA and Sr. CYIA stay for the whole week)
Pre-Application forms are available.
Cost: $250/Student for Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 and 2
This (the above 4 levels of training) is great training for anyone 12 years of age and older (including adults) to prepare you for teaching summer 5-Day Clubs and Good News Clubs in the fall.

Dear CEF of MARCK Prayer Partners,
Happy New
Year to you! All lot has happened since my last email on December
31. First of all, my wife, Sue, left on Jan. 3 for a month long
mission trip to Thailand (See attached up-date from her). My
favorite Christmas gift was the book; "The boy who came back
from heaven" by Keven & Alex Malarkey. A remarkable
story of miracles, angels, and life beyond this world. The more I
read about heaven, the more I look forward to going there. As
Paul said; "I am hard pressed between the two, having a
desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better"
(Phil. 1:23)
Praises & Requests of Dale Baer (Local Director)
- Your donated CEF materials were mailed to India! Some of
you donated CEF materials last spring & summer. Amanda Wolfe
(Ashland) mailed it to India and reports the following. "We
spoke with our brother in India last night over Skype. It was
very humbling. The needs in India are great. There are just so
many children. He said he prays he could pay his workers better.
14 workers conduct 150 clubs a month and yet most of the
workers are only paid $50-100 a
month. Those that get paid $50 a month eat once a day. Those
that get paid $100 a month get to eat twice a day. I just want
to thank everyone again for sharing these materials with our
friends in India. It was a tremendous blessing to them! Thank
you. Amanda" - Bellville Good News Club Starts! This past Thursday (Jan. 12) this club started with almost 100 children in attendance. Karen Mesnard taught the older children and Lynelle Leedy taught the younger ones and there were four children counseled for assurance of their salvation.
- Dwight Baer: Please continue to pray for my brother who has pancreatic cancer. The doctor said this week that he has 4 to 6 months to live without chemo, and a year or more to live with chemo. Dwight has decided to start chemo soon.
- Northmor GNC: This club is now scheduled to start on Friday, Jan. 27. We had a good Procedures Workshop on Jan. 7 and we have a good team ready to start. Pray that the DS (Mr. Winand) would approve CEF's background check procedure.

- Thank you God for Blake, who prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior this week! Thanks for your great kindness in showing yourself to children.
- For Deb, a new helper at Montgomery, she has been a great blessing!
- I am thankful to be able to visit a few of the Ashland Clubs and finish up my TCE 2 practicums.
- We need your wisdom Lord, for teaching and handling our clubs. We seem to have lots of energetic children in Ashland County! We ask you for safety and wise discipline.
- Pray for the children at Taft GNC this month. They are not meeting. Pray that they would do their devotionals and read their Bibles.
- Pray for our CEF Banquet on March 22. We are trusting God to guide and help us.

- March 22: CEF of MARCK Fundraising Banquet (6:30 - 8:45 PM) at Berean Baptist Church (2145 Middle Bellville Road, Mansfield, OH 44904) Guest Speaker: Edna Zuraw who has 50 years of experience in CEF ministry. 15 of those years she was the Director of the Children's Ministries Institute at the CEF International Headquarters in Warrenton, Missouri. She has a passion of the souls of boys and girls and training workers.
