Dear CEF Prayer Partners,

God is indeed at work in our midst!  Our church (Berean Baptist Church, 2145 Middle Bellville Road, Mansfield, OH) is having a “THIRST CONFERENCE” this week!  Last night everyone received a styrofoam cup with the word “Thirst” on it.   Everyone was encouraged to write words on the cup that are substitutes for God for us.  Then we were all invited to take our cups to the altar and ask the Lord for help to destroy the “idols” of our lives!  The sanctuary was filled with standing room only and it seemed as though everyone responded to the invitation!   God is good!  If you can come, please do.  Two nights left.  Starts at 6:30 PM nightly.

Thanksgiving parties are starting this week!  Pray for children to have an attitude of THANKSGIVING!

Thank you for your prayers for the following items.

A)  Dale Baer’s Praise & Prayer: (PROJECT B)

1)  Request:  Pray for Ethel Mecurio (Western GNC Volunteer & our Local Committee Chairman, Mike’s, wife).  Mike took her to Med Central this morning with heart problems.  Pray for God’s healing touch!

2)  Praise:  Started second Released-Time GNC at Mansfield Christian School (Saunnie Cassell teacing).

3)  Praise:   22 Good News Clubs started in October and 101 children saved this month!

4)  Praise:  A Procedure Workshop is planned for Nov.  25 (7-9 PM) at First Church of God on # 39.   Pray that many will come to this training to begin planning for a GNC in Shelby!!

 5)  Praise:  A wonderful CEF World Day of Prayer on November 5.  If anyone would like to continue to pray for a 15 minute slot (daily or weekly) please let Dale Baer know.  (Jer. 33:3)  Over 100 people signed up for a 15 minute prayer slot last Wednesday. 

 

B)  Karen Mesnard’s Praise & Prayer:  (PROJECT M)

PRAISES:

1.  God has been good to send some dear friends to help me with my leaves and work at my home.  It is true friendship when others sacrifice for a need.

2.  God has POSSIBLY sent another person for the Bellville GNC.  I am waiting to hear from her.  Sue Baer said she would be calling me.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1.  Please pray for the GNC Orientation meeting to be held this Thursday night, November 13, at the office.  Pray that all the team leaders can attend.

2.  CONTINUE TO MAKE IT AN URGENT PRAYER NEED FOR FOUR ADDITIONAL PEOPLE TO HELP AT THE BELLVILLE GNC.   THIS CLUB WILL NOT BE HELD 

THIS SCHOOL YEAR UNLESS SOMEONE COMES FORWARD SOON.

 

C)  Nancy Marlett’s Praise & Prayer:  (PROJECT N)  Ashland County

 Praise:

    We now have a teacher for Lincoln school.

Pray:

    That we find a church to fund the Lincoln school and helpers.

Praise:

    For children who are learning their memory verses.

Pray:

    That parents will help the children do their Wonder Devotionals.

Praise:

    For all of our wonderful teacher's and helpers who give sacrificially of their time

Pray:

    That the Holy Spirit will empower each teacher as they prepare/teach clubs.
