Reports to: Local Director and Local Committee
Hours: Part-time approximately 15-18 hours per week
Salary: $12/hour
Office Manager/ Secretary/ Administrative Assistant
- Is on staff for the MARCK Chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Ohio, Inc.
- Is responsible for handling the daily tasks associated with the operation of the local CEF® office
- Will work in cooperation with the local director, staff coordinators, local committee and sub-committee chairmen to ensure that the office works efficiently and smoothly in a way that honors the Lord.
Qualifications:
- Has a current BCI/FBI background check
- Has a strong testimony of relationship/faith in Jesus Christ and a heart to reach children with the gospel
- Agrees with CEF’s statement of faith and core values.
- Demonstrates exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Possesses proficiency with technology
- Possesses strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Is self-motivated, dependable, teachable and capable of following through on commitments with little supervision
Responsibilities:
Interpersonal Communications
- Serves as receptionist greeting visitors, managing communication, and handling all aspects of correspondence including developing and distributing newsletters, postcards, appreciation notes, bulk mailings, and receipts.
Office Management
- Organizes events including invitations, reservations, meal planning, workers and ordering supplies
- Organizes, facilitates ordering, and distributes staff and volunteer office supplies
- Electronically files and maintains all records required by CEF including gathering periodic stats
- Oversees all details related to the office volunteers
- Assists local director/staff with club, fair and training preparations
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Local Director
Financial Accountability
- Oversees the retail aspect of CEF of MARCK including billing/invoices, receipts, and inventory
- Keeps record of club materials purchased through church donations
- Regulates petty cash
Office Housekeeping
- Organizes and maintains current supplemental teaching materials, visual aids, and equipment storage
- Cleans and maintains office environment
